This conveyor belt cleaner has segmented tips that individually adjust to troughs or wear to apply uniform pressure on the entire width of the belt, overcoming the problem of irregular wear. The A-type conveyor belt cleaner has cushions made of rubber to support the tops which are made of cemented carbide. Easy to mount the cleaner does not require a lot of space for mounting.

This pre-cleaner is optimally located on the head of the pulley to drop carry back right at the transfer point and utilised for mechanically fastened belts or the V-tip for vulcanised belts. It has technically engineered, segmented blades to allow the cleaning tips to conform to the belt and interface with the belt splice. This type of conveyor belt cleaner has independently tensioned cushions, a spring tensioner, visual tension inspection and an extended wear life.
